There is no special preparation for 3D imaging and it’s completely painless. Patients stand stationary for a few moments while the cone beam system rotates around the outside of the head. Hundreds of pictures form using that brief scan. These high definition images very accurately depict your teeth and jaws, showing your dentist the location of nerves, sinus, and other vital structures. With the aid of this technology, we can develop a comprehensive, individualized plan.
